Forecast for August 2025
We August begins on a softer note, with Venus having just moved into the sign of Cancer. This means that both our benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter, are traveling together in the same sign, lighting up our home, family and tribe. I love this signature for the last month of summer. It's the perfect time to connect with friends and family and attend to home-related matters.
There is, however, a bit of tension from August 6th to 8th. Mars enters Libra, the sign of its fall, and then goes on to oppose Saturn and Neptune. These are not the best days to act (or react) in the moment. Keep calm and observe what is unfolding so that you can take strategic action accordingly.
On the heels of this aspect, we have a beautiful full moon in Aquarius, which serves as a release point, allowing us to pivot and acknowledge any changes that need to be made. Remember, with full moons, the “house lights” are up and on high, allowing us to see things as they are. This is followed by a Venus-Jupiter conjunction on August 12th, possibly one of the sweetest days of the year.
If you’re feeling tension or confusion at the beginning of the month, it will resolve around the middle of the month, and a better plan and path will be established with greater clarity. Invoke patience and allow the universe to do the heavy lifting for you. If you do, you may be pleasantly surprised by the results.
We end the month with the sun and a new moon in Virgo and Mercury coming out of its retrograde shadow period. We are officially back in action! It’s ideal timing to get organized and ready to kick off fall.
