Forecast for October 2025

As we ease out of eclipse season and into October, we gain the gift of deeper insight and clarity. The vital intel comes just in time, as October will be an optimal month (one of the best in 2025) to move forward with new initiatives.

This month has both a sweet and salty overtone, with an equal boost of Libra and Scorpio energy. Pluto will be turning direct in Aquarius. Mars will be in its domicile in Scorpio and Venus in hers, Libra – giving us the tools we need to excavate the truth, strategize our way forward, and handle the details diplomatically.

The prickly parts will be balanced by momentum and a more solid and truthful ground from which to move forward. I love this signature for getting things done and giving us the courage to do hard things in a fair and balanced way.

Our social and outer planets, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus, are all retrograding back, not just in their current sign but into their previous sign, which is where we started this year. This marks a period of endings and completion, giving us a chance to dot the i’s and cross the t’s before we start to evolve at a quickened pace in the first quarter of 2026.

We end the month with Mercury moving into Sagittarius – an optimistic transit for visioning the big picture. However, Mercury will begin its pre-retrograde shadow, where we begin to slow down for the year. If possible, try to initiate your major plans this month. You’ll have all of November and the first half of December to revise and refine the details.
